Murals with Meaning
MLNart was started in 2012 by Megan Najera through custom painting commissions. These requests grew into high end, custom designed, hand painted murals.
I’m a professional muralist, specializing in creating floral and nature-themed large-scale artwork using colorful, surrealistic twists. A large body of my work is facilitated through partnering with commercial properties, cities and local businesses that focus on outdoor and nature-themed initiatives to create strong community connections and bring awareness to the impact nature has on mental health.
The art activations I usually fulfill involve murals accompanied with marketing campaigns, community exercises like live painting, unveilings, events, and branded opportunities that even can extend to digitally and printed products when deemed fit.
My primary goal is always to ensure each mural has a purpose, no matter the business. I have had the pleasure of working with cities like Cedar Hill, McKinney and Garland, as well as multiple local businesses throughout the DFW area.
